It’s in the Rhône river delta that our wild white horse can be found, this small horse bears the name of its area : the Camargue. Together with the bull and pink flamingo it represents the symbol of an area with an exceptional ecosystem.
This white horse will always remain an unrivalled horse from the countryside, incredibly brave and resistant, but also surprisingly simple. It resists the tough weather conditions of its area : hard winters under the powerful and freezing blowing of the local wind the Mistral, and sweltering summers bringing voracious insects.
The breed has kept its original qualities because its living conditions have remained unchanged : this breed of horse is recognised in all disciplines (dressage, jumping, trekking, work horse-riding, endurance…)
The friend of the herdsmen is skilful, and today, thanks to its generosity, this breed is also used for cosmetics with the mare milk. The richness of their milk can be found in soaps or other cosmetic products, knowing that mare milk is very close to human breast milk and can help fight skin problems (eczema, psoriasis, acne, itching…)
