Mare milk : a product with recognised property in therapy
Its property regarding the skin is due to the attributes of different components of the milk :
Proteins have a moisturizing power. They can be jellified and consequently used as thickening and viscosity additives. They also have emuslifier and foaming attributes.
Soluble proteins have a film forming and tensor effect, wiping temporarily wrinkles away and have a buffer power in keeping skin pH stable.
glycoproteins contribute to the increasing of the moisturizing property and the proper keeping of the extracellular matrix organisation in the process of skin ageing.
